How To Make Our Own Coastal Room

Hello, i dont know why nowadays I really love Coastal Room.
I just so excited and feel so happy when I see it on pinterest, instagram or
google. After being crazy in Skandinavian room, I do it in coastal room. Its
different with Skandinavian Style which is representative of warmth, simplicity
and elegantly, Coastal room shows a cheerfulness and calmness nicely.
This
style gives a nuance of the beach so thats why I love the atmosphere, colors,
the interior item and everythings. It remembers me about the ocean, beach, smell of sand, wave’s sounds and blues
sky.
And the big crazy ideas is I want to decorate my room with
this style now (so excited!!). So I search some inspirations for item that I
can put in and how I can make my coastal dream come true. So, here are some
ideas that can help it. Lets rock!!
1.
First, match your colors
Oke, its very important element to make
this stlye. Coastal room identical with the beach and sand which produce a
calmness and cheerfulness. Thats why you
need some of blues or white color for building it. Mix and match everything in one
harmony. (Bye Bye Pink L).
2.
Lets your
room get more the light
In Coastal Room, the most effect that we
need is a light. Open let your big windows and let the natural light in. Also,
you can make skylight for get the natural light. If all of this too difficult,
just paint your wall with white color to make space and light. Beside that, add
a large mirror framed with driftwood to reflect a feeling of light and space.
3.
Simple or Casual furniture
The next rule is put the casual or simple item
in. Dont take too bling bling furnitures, just take the driftwoods , rattan or simple
sofa to bring the natural calmness and feel the coastal charm.
4.
Decor it Babe
Give a little detail for your room with
beach decorations. We can put some pillow with shell patern, seashells, coral
and beach pebbles. We also can take alternate sized picture frames or large
canvas againts whitewashed walls. Bellow some ideas from me for making this style completely.
